JA&RE REACT rescue equipment MUST ONLY be used by trained persons. It is the responsibility of the user to be trained in appropriate confined space rescue techniques and first aid techniques, (if applicable), BEFORE using JA&RE REACT equipment. THE LIFE OF THE CASUALTY DEPENDS UPON YOUR TRAINING AND SKILL.
Following consultation with the West Midlands FB Technical Rescue Unit the Slix100XL is now available with Side Extenders as standard.
Made from the same material as the stretcher skin the Extenders add 200mm to each side and fit over the existing straps, as shown, giving a overall width of 1600mm
The Extenders may be left in place or added/removed as required.
We have also modified the Foot Loop which is now a single long strap. The single Foot Loop also allows better foot retention but still allows the user to support a single foot if necessary. The new Foot Loop is simply twisted into a loop and located over the casualties legs/leg.
