A BESPOKE SERVICE FOR STRETCHER DESIGN.
WE ARE UNIQUE IN OFFERING A SERVICE TO DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE STRETCHERS FOR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS.

THE LATEST EXAMPLE IS THE BARIATRIC SLIX100 XL & XXL DEVELOPED WITH THE WEST MID. FB TECHNICAL RESCUE UNIT.
Two examples of bespoke stretchers.

The original SLIX50 stretcher was simply a upper body drag stretcher for very tight  rescues.
For the MOD and Vickers Thornycroft the SLIX50  was modified and became a vertical lift stretcher with a Articulated Skirt.
This was to enable a evacuation of a casualty from sonar dome compartments when all other stretchers had failed.

The MOD and Rolls Royce had a similar problem evacuating a casualty into the new Submarine Rescue Vehicle. Again all other stretchers and harnesses had failed.
Very restricted head room meant that JA&RE had to modify the SLIX50 Combined with lower hauling points and the addition of foot loops.

These modifications were so successful they have been incorporated into the standard SLIX50 Combined and SLIX50 stretchers .
