of the SLIX100 MKll
wp840580b6.gif
Working with the West Midlands Fire Brigade Technical Rescue Unit
JA&RE has developed a Confined Space Stretcher for Bariatric casualties, the SLIX100XL.
According to government reports, the UK population is facing a significant increase in the proportion of Bariatric, (clinically obese ), patients.
It follows that those requiring transport or evacuation result in a rising challenge facing the emergency services.
JA&RE have  developed a stretcher to help cope with the larger patient/casualty from areas where a rigid stretcher is unusable or unsuitable.

Wider Skin - 1220mm
Longer Closure Straps (plus 2m) Buckles rated at 300kg
Extra Haul Points (now 4 per side) Rated at 400kgs
Modified Foot Shape
Reinforced Carry Strap anchor points (See inset).

The evacuation and transport of Bariatric casualties is a skill that should be trained for and practiced BEFORE a operation is undertaken.
User Replaceable Reinforced
Carry and Closure Straps.
